Central Welcomes New Committee & President

Before all the celebrations of the Awards dinner Squash Central held their Annual General Meeting.  With Presidnet Rod Bannister,  Kaye Carter (Players Representative) and Emma Burnell (Committee) all stepping down we had some shoes to fill.

Kaye and Rod have been apart of the committee for some time Rod as President for the past two years stepped down to concentrate on coaching and he has been selected for the District Coach role and as Elite Squad Manager/coach.  Kaye Carter was the players Representative for quite a few years and has stepped down from the committee as she is a very busy lady helping run Kawaroa Park as well as continueing to run CoachForce modules and general coaching in the Taranaki region for Central.  Your new Players  Representative is Cindy March from Feilding Squash Club.   What is a players rep you ask?  This is any individuals representation to the Central Committee.  If you wish to have something discussed you can talk to Cindy and she will represent you at our next meeting.  Alternativly you can raise anything with us in writing and it will be included in the next meeting for discussion.  We also farewell Emma Burnell who has been on the committee for several years and can be seen working tirelessly around the Levin club.  We wish Emma and Kaye all the best, thank you for your contribution to Central and we will see you on the courts.

We now welcome our new President Glenn Blay and new committee members Cindy March (Players Rep), Brendon Davies, Sheryl Hooper, Melville Holmes (Masters Convener) and Aaron Stevens.  These six join returning Committee Mike Jack (Refereeing), Dianne Taske (Treasurer), Kelly Faint (Junior Manager), Rod Bannister (District Coach and Elite Manager), Marilyn Dolan (District Captain/iSquash Admin), Tom Lumsden and John Laurenson.

The Committee and myself look forward to a fantastic 2018 season with you all.
