Senior Manager Melville Holmes has announce the 2022 Senior Representative team that will travel to Remuera, Auckland to compete against the other 11 districts at the NewZealand Teams Championships over 26 - 28th August.  Congratulations to the following players on their selection.

What a massive Superchamps weekend for all our teams and hosts! It takes an army and im sure there's a few sore heads and bodies floating around the district today as everyone recovers! Congratulations to all our teams who won their grades and are headed off to Nationals. To[ performing clubs were Ohakune and Kawaroa Park with 3 titles and Whanganui with 2.

Central had 5 players competing at the New Zealand Champs in Tauranga.  The event has been modified in recent years to be only the top 32 men and 32 women to compete.  Our two highest placings went to Chris van der Salm of Whanganui who took out 4th in the Men's and Kaitlyn Watts of Palmerston North who also took 4th in the women's but was unable to play her final match due to injury.

A large crowd was well entertained over the weekend of 17 - 19th June with the top men's player from NZ and a few Internationals visiting Whanganui Squash Club to compete in the inaugural Whanganui PSA 5k event.  The event ran alongside the Central Open and drew good crowds with top players, great food from Bespoke and live entertainment.
