The 2025 Junior Prince Series wrapped up in style with the final round hosted by Rangitīkei Squash Club. Over the course of the series, we’ve seen fantastic numbers of juniors getting on court, with players travelling all over the district to take part.
The Junior Prince Series is such a valuable stepping stone for our young players – offering a fun, supportive environment to develop their skills, gain match experience, and build friendships with other juniors from across Central. It’s been brilliant to watch their confidence grow with each round, and to see so many new faces giving tournament squash a go for the first time.
A huge thank you goes to all the clubs who hosted rounds, the parents and supporters who helped with travel and encouragement, and the volunteers who made sure each event ran smoothly. Congratulations to all the players who took part – whether you were picking up your first racquet in a competition setting or challenging for a top spot, you’ve all contributed to a fantastic series.
We can’t wait to see what these juniors go on to achieve in the seasons ahead – and we know this is just the beginning for many of them.
Congratulations to all the players who participated in the series, and to our top 8 boys and girls who all took home amazing Prince prizes.
