Squashgym was the final stop for our Women’s E grade and below series with a great turnout of ladies who travelled from across the Central region. It was a busy day with Squashgym also hosting the Junior Prince Series at the same time so for some it was a family day out and an opportunity to catch up with new and old squash friends. Thank you to the Squashgym team for hosting the first and last stops on the series.

The intent of the series is to provide an environment for our lower graded players to have an opportunity to connect with other women who are of a similar grade for closer matches than you might find in a usual tournament. The series also offers opportunities for players who may not yet have connected with a squash club to try out a competition and encourage a love of the game in a social draw.

From our final tournament it is clear there was huge enjoyment of squash and the camaraderie that goes along with the game. Results from the final tournament are below.

Congratulations to all the ladies who participated across this series. While this event is not a sponsored event some spot prizes were awarded and an overall prize for a leaderboard winner Natalya Bodley. Congratulations Natalya who managed to attend five of the seven events, which is commendable with considerable distances between the events.

If you’re still within the correct grade next year we hope to see you join in again next year and at other squash events across the Central region in 2027.
